We eat curry with a lot of masalas like turmeric and sometimes it falls on cloth, which mostly happens with babies, resulting in stains that become hard to remove. There are various ways to remove Turmeric stains from clothes, Methods depend on how hard the stain is to remove.
METHOD 1 – You will be required Lemon, Baking Soda, Detergent, brush, and warm water.
HOW TO DO – Nicely spread Baking Soda over the place where the turmeric stain patch is. It should not very thick layer but a decent one that covers all stains. Now squeeze one lemon over the baking soda you have spread. Now leave it for one minute to react. Put detergent over the lemon and baking soda and rub it with a brush gently. Do this for 4-5 minutes. Place the cloth into warm water and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes. After 30 minutes you will definitely see positive results.
METHOD 2 – Yow will be required, White Vinegar, Liquid Dishwash, warm water, a plastic sheet or old cloth, and Brush to scrub
HOW TO DO – As soon as turmeric gets on the cloth wash it with normal water so that stains don’t get deeper. Now put and plastic sheet or old cloth under the stained patch so that it does not get spread all over the cloth. Now apply Liquid dish wash over the stain and rub it for 2-3 minutes. Now put White Vinegar over it and again rub it for a few minutes.
Now add 2-3 spoons of White Vinegar and Liquid Dishwash in warm water. Soak the stained cloth in that water for 2-3 hours. Wash that cloth normally as you do regularly and Dry that cloth under the strong hot sun.
