Maldives ministers were suspended after undesirable remarks about the Indian Prime Minister and the Maldives Government stated, “These opinions are personal and do not represent the views of the Government of Maldives”. Even people suffered losses in canceling but stood together to contribute to India. Maldives gets more than 5000 crore business from India from Tourism, but things seem to be changing now. Every year lakhs of Indians go there to spend vacations but now we will see a massive change.

He also inaugurated a Low-Temperature Thermal Desalination (LTTD) plant at Kadmat, which will help in producing 1.5 lakh liters of clean drinking water every day.
