India, Bharat, and Hindustan
Republic of India comes up with three major names Bharat, India, and Hindustan. These names are synonymously used by people depending on where they live, and what knowledge they possess. The Bharat word comes mainly from Vedas like Rigveda. India’s name was coined by the Greeks for people living near the Sindhu River (Indus River) and the word Hindustan came into use during Mughal time. Persian named people living near Sindu, Hindu.
Bharat Word from Vishnu Puran
Bharat word is derived from sanskrit. Word taken from purana says:
Vishnu Purāna mentions:
- ऋषभो मरुदेव्याश्च ऋषभात् भरतो भवेत्।
- भरताद् भारतं वर्षं, भरतात् सुमतिस्त्वभूत्॥
- Rishabha was born to Marudevi, Bharata was born to Rishabh,
- Bharatvarsha (India) arose from Bharat and Sumati arose from Bharat.
ततश्च भारतं वर्षमेतल्लोकेषुगीयते।
- भरताय यत: पित्रा दत्तं प्रतिष्ठिता वनम्॥
- (विष्णु पुराण, २,१,३२)
- This country is known as Bharatavarsha since the times the father entrusted the kingdom to the son Bharata and he himself went to the forest for ascetic practices.
उत्तरं यत्समुद्रस्य हिमाद्रेश्चैव दक्षिणम्।
- वर्षं तद् भारतं नाम भारती यत्र संततिः॥
- “The country (varṣam) that lies north of the ocean and south of the snowy mountains is called Bhāratam; there dwell the descendants of Bharata.”

Sanatan Dharma
Sanatan Dharma comprises of two words “Sanatan” means eternal and “Dharma” means duty. So, we get to know that a Sanatani has a duty internally and externally that he should perform for a progressive life. General duties include virtues such as honesty, refraining from injuring living beings, mercy, patience, purity, asceticism, self-restraint, goodwill, generosity, and forbearance.
Why does Anti Sanatan(Hindu) now mean Anti India?
Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin makes a statement that Sanatan Dharma is like Dengue, Malaria. It brings social injustice and inequality. It should be eradicated.
After this statement, he became opposed but instead of apologizing he stuck to his words and said he was ready to face any legal challenges in the future. He quoted Ambedkar’s view on Sanatan Dharma in making society negative to live.
Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar was a great personality but when it came to Sanatan he read books translated by foreigners which were manipulated by them. That means Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar didn’t have accurate knowledge of Sanatan Dharma. So, If you are seeking knowledge of Sanatan Dharma you can’t rely on Ambedkar’s teachings.
80% are Hindus
Anti-Hindu mindset and speech is in a country where 80% of people are Hindus. People like Stalin, Prakash Raj, etc. will always be against Hindus and Sanatans. But they will never say anything about other Religions or Faith even if there is wrong with it. This clearly indicates their propaganda against Hindus.
Politically they hate the BJP but now hating the BJP has become hating Hindus. These types of people continuously oppose work done by the BJP without knowing the benefits for the country. This is just ego which they satisfy by opposing the BJP but end up giving anti-india speeches.
Does Sanatan Dharma divide people into castes?
Stalin said Sanatan divides people into different castes which leads to discrimination.
BUT DOES HE KNOW WHAT SANATAN TEACHINGS ARE?
In Hindu society we often see people saying division of society is based on Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, and Shudra. These are the varnas in the teaching of Sanatan which are misunderstood by the majority of people. What everyone would tell you is the division of society on the basis of the above four Varnas. And they would tell you these are by birth.
In Bhagavad Gita chapter 4, verse 13 Lord Krishna says, “The four categories of occupations were created by Me according to people’s qualities and activities. Although I am the Creator of this system, know Me to be the Non-doer and Eternal.”
This verse is misinterpreted by anti-Hindu mindset people to spread hate and divide Hindus. There is nowhere it is mentioned by birth instead it is clearly written knowing people based on their QUALITIES and ACTIVITIES.
Anti-Hindu and Anti-Indian people are rising day by day with foreign funding which is not going to stop until we take HARD steps against them. JAI SHREE RAM!!
